TREK plans trips with the people you travel with: shared itineraries, interactive maps, and live collaboration, installable as a mobile app from the browser. The template builds the repository's Dockerfile with no configuration; TREK generates its own encryption key on first start.

Security

Registration is open on a fresh TREK and the first account becomes admin. Register first, then turn off registration in Admin settings unless you want public sign-ups.

What gets created

• The TREK web app and API, built from the repository's Dockerfile
• A public HTTPS URL on port 3000
• Its database, uploads, and generated encryption key inside the container

Before you deploy

• Nothing to configure before deploying
• Runs on the Free plan
• First build takes several minutes: it compiles the client, the server, and a small helper

How to deploy

1. Press Deploy. Sign in or create a NEXUS AI account and you return to the same page.
2. Choose a name for your URL, review the settings, and press Deploy again.
3. Wait for the build, then open your URL when the status is Running.

After it deploys

1. Open your URL and register right away: the first account becomes the admin
2. In Admin settings, turn off Allow registration unless you want anyone with the URL to sign up
3. Create a trip and invite the people you travel with

Your data

Trips, uploads, and the encryption key live inside the container. Stopping and starting keeps them; rebuilding the deployment starts fresh.
