How NEXUS AI collects, uses, shares, and protects information across the dashboard, CLI, API, and MCP integrations.
Information we collect
NEXUS AI collects account information (email, name, optional phone and organization), authentication data (a hashed password, Google or GitHub identifiers, encrypted two-factor secrets), deployment configuration and metadata, build and runtime logs, subscription and billing data, support communications, and usage and device data including IP address.
How we share information
NEXUS AI does not sell personal information. It shares data with service providers that operate the platform: a payment processor for billing, AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure for deployments, AI model providers for AI App Builder requests, an email delivery provider, and, on the public marketing site, Google and Reddit analytics and advertising cookies.
Your applications and data
Customers control the code, repositories, secrets, databases, storage, and environments they connect, and the data their deployed applications process. NEXUS AI processes that content to run the requested service.
Retention and security
Account and product data is kept while an account is active; audit logs are retained for 90 days. Data is transmitted over HTTPS, secrets are held in an AES-256-GCM vault, organizations are isolated, and platform actions are audit logged.
Your privacy rights (GDPR and CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a supervisory authority. EEA and UK processing is based on contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligation. California residents can opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Exercise rights by emailing [email protected]. A Data Processing Addendum is available for business customers.
International transfers
NEXUS AI is based in the United States. Data is transferred to and processed in the United States and in the cloud region you select. Transfers of personal data out of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum.
App plus database plus worker
A typical NEXUS AI deployment can run a web app, a PostgreSQL database, a Redis queue, and a background worker as one connected service group. The app and worker share the same deployment network, so application code can use internal hostnames such as postgresql and redis instead of hard-coded host ports or external database addresses.
Storage and recovery included
Production apps usually need more than compute. NEXUS AI supports persistent filesystem volumes for apps that write to paths such as /data, S3-compatible buckets for uploads and generated files, database backups, in-place restore, and restore into another compatible service in the same organization.
One workflow across interfaces
The same stack can be managed from the dashboard, CLI, REST API, or MCP tools. Developers can deploy from GitHub, add database services, attach storage, run workers, scale replicas, inspect logs, create backups, and recover data without switching between cloud consoles and hand-built scripts.
